Guest guest
All, > Who wouldn't? Even people who read Chinese would rather have a > teacher than a book. Why not both? A profession is not a curriculum, it is a cooperative human entity with a functional identity, inter- and intra-field communications and standards for how professional claims are made. Chinese medicine is large enough to have everything from translation to science, and all that falls between. There is no need to find one area knowledge better than another -- all should be available so individuals can choose what they want, when they want it. A practitioner can know only a part of the field's knowledge, even only a part of the clinical repetoir, what counts is what they can access when they need it.
