There are some references that acupoints (in animals at least) persist for a time after death. I have seen also (but have mislaid) reports that the Channels - as detected by differential passage of sound or electrical current between points on the same channel - also persist for a time after death. > Qi is the driving force for physical life. Yes, but many inanimate objects [megalithic standing stones, geopathic or geoeuphoric zones, Indian " Objects of Power " , paintings, colours, music, etc] also have forms of Qi that can benefit health, or deplete it, in living creatures. > WM has never provided a satisfactory definition of life, ... Maybe, but it has many ways define " quality of life " and to recognise the presence or absence of life. A person on life-support may be kept " alive " for days or weeks, even though brain-dead and totally dependent on the ventilator, infusions and pumps, etc. > ... But IMO CM is only one way of TRYING to understand life and life force. > The life force has its own consciousness and provides the > intelligence to drive the physical body, providing its physical, > emotional and mental motivations. Without qi, the body has no > motivation, no life. That statement is hard to prove or disprove. IMO, rather than being a fact, it is a statement of belief, or a working hypothesis, by those of us interested in CM. I may know/believe in my bones that God, soul/spirit, ghosts, angels, demons etc exist but I can not " prove it " to honest skeptics, or to those who wish to disbelieve... > The extraordinary channels are all about 'position,' as you put it. > Joseph Garner Joe, I have not studied or used the Extraordinary Channels as much as the Main Channels. Would you like to discuss them in more depth?
