Guest guest
Hi All, Have any of you had success in treating malignant fibrous histiocytoma with AP or TCM? A colleague with no TCM background asks for expert comment. See below. Many thanks, Phil ------- Forwarded message follows ------- " Katja Kelly " <katjak Date sent: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 09:22:34 +0100 Hello Listers, I have a 6 year old male Labrador Retriever that I just removed a malignant fibrous histiocytoma from his hard palate. The mass was about 2 cm., and adjacent to P4, but with normal- appearing tissue between the tumor and the tooth. The path report said that the margins were not clear, but a CT scan shows no bony involvement. The local lymph nodes have not been examined yet. He has no clinical signs of a problem. I know that hemimaxillectomy is the surest way to remove all of the tumor. Radiation alone will buy us about a year. I have heard that there have been some surprising success stories with Chinese herbal medicine and treatment of inoperable sarcomas. I would like to know if anyone has had any experience using herbs in cancer therapy. Thanks from myself and " Moose.
