Guest guest
Hi All, & Hi Alon, YUNTAIZI is S Brassicae Campestris [but Google has no useful data on it] Apart from CHINGHAO, three other varieties of Artemisia were also mentioned in the Shennong Bencao Jing: ANLUZI (Artemisia keiskeanae), BAIHAO (Artemisia argyi; the white hao), and YINCHENHAO (Artemisia capillaris, yinchen refers to its growth like a carpet of green); the latter is commonly called capillaris. [see: http://www.itmonline.org/arts/chinghao.htm ] I can find no hits on Google for Puhuangteng or Pu-Huang-Teng. There are hits for PUHUANGTAN (Carbonized Cattail Pollen, Pollen Typhae); See: http://tcmbohemia.cz/byliny.htm and http://www.999pharm.com.cn/she/c-10.htm and there are MANY hits for PU HUANG TAN (put that in the second search panel at http://www.google.com/advanced_search ) Best regards, WORK : Teagasc Staff Development Unit, Sandymount Ave., Dublin 4, Ireland WWW : Email: < Tel : 353-; [in the Republic: 0] HOME : 1 Esker Lawns, Lucan, Dublin, Ireland WWW : http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/searchap.htm Email: < Tel : 353-; [in the Republic: 0]
