Guest guest
Hi (Bob, Z'ev, Jim, Emmanuel, and others) Thanks to all of you for a most informative forum, it's an honor to be part of this discussion group! I just returned from a visit to the Bay Area from Taizhong, Taiwan, where I have been living for the past three years. I am now in isolation in Tongxiang, near Hangzhou, where I will be teaching and studying for the next few months. (In isolation because I arrived in Shanghai from Taiwan). While in the Bay Area, a friend of a friend approached me about his inflamed prostate (not BPH). Other people were present, so I have little info about him except that he has tried most Western herbs/supplements (Zinc, Saw Palmetto, Lycopene, Curcumin, Pygeum, Stinging Nettle, etc.), some alone, some in combo, with little improvement. He's in his 60's, active, lean, eats a healthful diet (lots of nuts, seeds, organic veggies and fruits, fresh fish, and limited amounts of free-range meats, so arachidonic acid is probably not a factor), non-smoker, very light drinker, in a seemingly healthy and supportive marriage, but in process of selling their home (several months), and with recent loss of best friend. I felt he would be willing to see a CM practitioner for Dx and herbal formula, possibly for acupuncture. All: Can you recommend a practitioner in the Danville, Concord, Walnut Creek area (CA)? Any other thoughts on the tx of prostatitis? Bob Flaws: Is your formula, Prosta Quell, out yet? If he's not willing to cook herbs, would it possibly be appropriate? (I understand lack of CM pattern Dx would make it difficult to answer.) Thanks so much, and good health to all of you, Daniel C.
