Guest guest
I have a patient with restless leg syndrome that occurs as he's trying to fall asleep at night. He's an otherwise healthy, active 38 year old. Has anyone had any luck with RLS? I am wondering specifically if anyone has used SPZM from Health Concerns - or any other formulas that have been successful in calming down the RLS. I remember seeing a translation of various treatments for RLS with pattern discriminations. Basically it's a high dosage of Bai Shao (20 gr) with Zhi Gan Cao(12gr) and others herbs according to other patterns like Heart yin xue, liver/kidney yin xue etc. I have had good results with additions like Ji Xue teng (9gr), Niu xi huai (9), Sang Ji Sheng (9), Wei Ling Xian (9), SuanZao Ren (9), Yuan Zhi (9), Bai Zi Ren (9), Ye Jiao Teng (9), for a patient that was heart and kidney yin def. Guest guest
Hi! I used SPZM a lot for patients with wood CF from 5 element perspective. It was very helpful, especially for muscle tension and restless muscle. It also depend on the pattern of disharmony according Zang Fu. Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang (Peony & Licorice Combination) from KPC herbs is also very helpful.
