You mean a WORD macro? In the M$ applications you can often but not

perfectly change from a simplified unicode font such as simsum to a

traditional unicode font like piminglu (or visa-versa) and get the right

result. It is not perfect. If you have a list of characters for which you are

concerned, enter it in two colums of an Excel spread sheet, and covert the

font in the column you want to change from traditional to simplified. Use

this to check that the characters are what you expect. If this works to your

need, you can use a search and replace command to alter the font, provided

the file is consistently set. You must take care that the style sheets you are

using are properly configured because, if they specify a particular font, you

will get the style-sheet behavior whenever WORD decides you are applying

that style sheet.

Once your file looks the way you want, you are generally safe with truetype

fonts on laser printers and in screen resolution PDF's; however, when you

go to high resolution devices, the relationship of the " code points " is not

perfect and you can get characters other than those you expect. Unicode

Chiense is an excellent development.

I read in the Twinbridge manual, (my version is about a year old), that they

have altered the code points in their unicode fonts for " backward

compatibility, " that is another caution to keep in mind if you are using

Twinbridge.

Sorry, no.
