Hi,

 

My name is Jeanne Ann Whittington, and I am an acupuncturist/herbalist

practicing in Concord NH. I was first licensed in 1990 in Massachusetts,

and practiced in Cambridge for about 10 years before moving my practice

to New Hampshire. I first studied herbs with Ted Kaptchuk in the mid-90s

and have used patents in my practice since that time. But I wanted more

training so I could write prescriptions with greater confidence, and

recently (December 2002) completed a 3-year herbal training program with

Sharon Weizenbaum in Amherst MA. I just received my NCCAOM herbal

certification this past winter. So I've been using herbs in my practice

for some time, but as a prescribing herbalist I still feel like a

beginner and look forward to continuing my learning--and hope that this

forum can contribute to that!
