Re:thick skin

On my way out the door to catch my plane for San Diego this morning but

thought I'd chime in on the thick skin issue.

 

I so appreciate this group. It's honest, professional and thoughtful.

I've watched other groups deteriorate into personality conflict quagmires

and have watched this one gently guide us to greater levels of clarity and

professionalism.

There is a core group of regular contributors and a large group of

people who occasionally put forward queries or ideas. This allows me to get

to know this core group, a group I fundamentally trust. So this CHA group

feels both solid and open to me. I like having a place where I can write

what I think and know I'll get good feedback for my ideas. In addition, the

quality of thought and articulation is often stunning. It's a small miracle

that this group has formed and matured to this point.

 

Let's keep it up.
