Of all the professional lists to which I , CHA is probably the most civil and useful of the lot. It has an amazing spread of professional knowledge and the willingness of its [very busy] Members to share their insights and experiences is to be applauded. As one who has taught professionals and students in many areas for almost 40 years, I also agree with Emmanuel's comment: > I've always maintained that the most efficacious way to learn is to > present. The most intense presentation is when you look into the > eyes of your peers and try to state your case. ... I would wager > that most of those on this list who have taught for a few years > would agree with this premise. Nothing focuses the mind as much as the *preparation* of lecture material for professionals. And, having prepared, nothing is a better learning experience than to be queried and criticised constructively by trained minds. So, for the " quiet ones " on CHA, especially students and younger members, I encourage you to raise any questions as they arise and to comment honestly/critically on the ideas/answers of others. hats off to you for maintaining this List.
