Guest guest Posted June 17, 2003 Report Share Posted June 17, 2003 RVU's are a part of incorporating the ABC coding system, and it woul dbe advantageous to fill the thing out. While AAOM strongly supports ABC coding (especially since outside of the ABC codes we will soon only be allowed to use the two acupuncture CPT codes available until at least 2005 because of political moves within the acupuncture field), I suspect that the independent company that sent this survey out may have gotten the e-mail addresses from somewhere else. However, it is a very up and up company and they do a lot to protect the indentity of the individual while saving useable data as to how those who are paid by insurers will be paid. That said, to put it simply, they are an honest company and you can be honest with them, if you choose to participate.
