The Department of Complementary Medicine at RMIT is holding the First World Congress on for Education, Research and Practice in Melbourne from Friday 21 November to Monday 24 November, 2003 (4 days).

 

This conference is jointly organised by RMIT University, Melbourne Australia, and Nanjing University of Traditional , Nanjing China to:

Hi Again,

 

Perhaps this would be the perfect opportunity for someone on this list far more cognisant and experienced than I to address the issues of English texts and translational practices or terminology standards to the greater TCM educational community.

 

I would really LOVE to see someone influential, highly experienced and knowledgeable about these issues (and ideally possessing an EXTREMELY persuasive way with words...tongue firmly in cheek ;-)) to present at this conference.......after all, one of the three topics is education; and the latter two topics are only the branches and leaves of the TCM tree which is rooted in a accurate communication of TCM knowledge shared via education.

 

To my knowledge, submissions for abstracts are open until the end of July.

 

Does Nigel himself read this list? Perhaps someone could advise him personally of this congress?

 

Disclaimer : Although I am a former student of both the universities presenting this conference......I have no ulterior motive with posting this information. I just thought that the list members may not be aware of this conference and may be interested in attending etc.
