Guest guest
Hi Dave, Growth hormone is only released during sleep (hence at night), so that means tissue growth mainly happens during sleep. That's the heavy lifting I'm referring to in my post. The liver supplies most of the "little growth hormones" call somatomedins or insulin-like factors. So the liver has to be happy and strong, or you don't do any heavy lifting (read growing or repair tissues). Remember that Rumplestilsken turns straw into gold and he only works at night. That's why babies sleep so much. They're growing a lot. I'm posting to CHA sans your query as I feel it's my duty to my colleagues to reveal the true identity of Rumplestilsken.
