Guest guest
Hi Yehuda, I had a patient with this... and treated him for 2 months with acupuncture and herbs and had absolutely no change. I had a long conversation with someone and learned that because with this patient... attempts were made to surgically remove the lipomas and they grew back in exactly the same place, which meant that it was genetic. It was simply his bodies way of dealing with a certain type of waste. Of course, after I found this out... I stopped treating him. Perhaps your patient has a different presentation. Guest guest
Why not then try to treat the underlying problem, and lead the waists out a natural opening? Exactly where did the lipoma develop? Guest guest
Hi Teresa, It's the same scenario, unfortunately. They have grown back, and even more aggressively. Thanks for the feedback. Guest guest
Hi Are, The patient I treated had no other signs of anything. Except for the lipomas...he was young, athletic, ate a clean healthy diet, very healthy emotionally. The lipomas were not painful, however did have an effect on his self-esteem. He worked with A chiropractor for one year... trying to resolve the lipomas. The Chiro advised him to detox the organs and gave him nutritional supplements... to no avail. I could not find anything in his pulse, tongue or abdomin. I would have to say that he was the healthiest patient I have treated, except for having these accumulations and being hypersensitive to needling, on the back. I ended up diagonsing him with phelgm accumulating in muscle tissue. I believe the first lipoma began in the waist area, however according to him there was one and then there were like 10, then they were all over. He began noticing them when he was 14. I did allot of questioning about what was going on at that time. Because of the effect on his self esteem he had about 15 of the larger ones cut out and the majority of them came back, in the very same place. Guest guest
dear yehuda frischman No, but are there any Chinese medical comparative pattern discrimination studies out There? including tendencies and experiential know how? BTW what does Chinese medicine tend to refer to when Western medicine labours lipomas? Presumably it is not a " new " disease, dis-ease... Guest guest
Definitely phlegm nodules, but from a tcm perspective, how do we explain the prolific proliferation. Incidentally, the pulse slippery and weak, and the tongue was pale and damp with little coating. Yehuda ______________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
