FILE THIS!: HOW TO CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS ON A LIST

Hi All,

 

Please FILE THIS for future use. It applies to most Lists on the

servers.

 

To change your address on any list, use exactly the

proceedure outlined below, but instead of " PA-L " (as below), insert

the name of the other List,

(say, PVA-L, LIKEMList, CHineseHerbAcademy, MMDR-L, etc)

 

If you (say Dr Patil, for example), want to change your PA-L

address FROM <a_patil TO <patilanil,

the correct procedure is:

 

(1) Remove your OLD address from the PA-L server as follows:

 

Set the default sending email address on your PC to the OLD

address (<a_patil) and then send a BLANK email

to:<PA-L-Un >

 

(2) Then add your NEW address to the PA-L server, as follows:

 

Set the default sending email address on your PC to the NEW

address (<patilanil) and then send a BLANK email

to:<PA-L-Subscribe >
