Hi,

I need a referral for a patient I am treating. I am looking for acupuncture and herbal practitioner. She is moving back to school in Cambridge, Mass this September. Someone in town would be nice, but she is willing to travel to Boston.

She prefers somebody that can work with Blue Cross/Blue Shield Illinois or Massachusetts. She is covered by them in both states. She's also willing to see someone even if they don't work with BC/BS.

Please email me if you or someone else can help out.

Thanks,

Malino

Any type of specialty, there are an awful lot of people here, though I don't know too many who bill insurance.

Hi Scott,

My patient came to me with the chief compliant of chronic eczema. Like most cases, it turns out to be more complex than the situation would appear.

She has digestive complaints, psycho-social issues, musculo-skeletal problems, and poor sleep.

All of which I am addressing via TCM and some Meridian Root treatment using acupuncture, tuina, external qi gong therapy, and powdered herbs.

She says forceful therapies tend not to be her preference, such as some forms chiropractic she's had. The "low force" and less invasive treatments I have given her have been to her liking.

I have been doing mild needle stim., hands on therapy, and off the body qi gong. She gets nervous about needling, but she has gotten through fine with the acupuncture she has received.

Her skin is sensitive to irritation, so we have gone slow with external therapies like baths and lotions.
