Guest guest
Yehuda, I saw Dr He treat a swelling that I think was a lipoma. (Circular, round, defined edges-described by patient as a " benign tumor. " ) He circled it all around the periphery with needles. I think this is called " circle the dragon " technique-I'm not sure. I have heard of this to treat a herpes outbreak as well (obviously not genital herpes, but maybe herpes zoster). The patient had treatment before and said that the size of the swelling began to decrease after several days. The patient that I personally once saw that had lipomas had lots of damp signs anyway, and I gave him Liu Zhun zi tang, which he did not take. Guest guest
I think that " surround the dragon " would be a great way to go, if there were only a few lipomas, however with systemic limpoma... there are so many that they are difficult to even count. I would say that my patient had at least 50 of limpomas that were benign, probably more. They were not any specific channel are body part... simply placed what appeared in random muscle tissue. Guest guest
Dear Gabielle, Thanks for writing back. Unfortunately, my patient's lipomas are quite extensive and numerous, as Teresa intimated. BTW, in his protocol he is also taking Liu jun zi pian, and it does seem to slow the progression. Obviously the lipomas are phegm damp accumulation. Also his diet and lifestyle have been modified, but it's difficult because he's a high pressured biz exec who's always on the go. Illness does tend to wake people up, though, doesn't it?
