Guest guest
Greetings, I am travelling to Kathmandu and beyond (to the area of Mustang on the Tibet/Nepal border) and have 4 days + in Kathmandu. I would like to visit the INstitute of Herbal Medicine or other clinics. Does anyone have contacts in Kathmandu that I could email or call once there? Does anyone have recommendations on clinics to visit or temples? ALso, I will be visiting a remote village in Mustang to bring in educational/traditional medical supplies and clothes. AS I have never gone to a remote village, I was thinking of bringing in needles, and herbal patents for gastrointestinal problems and musculoskeletal pain. Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Susan Froehlich, LAc Hood River, OR USA

Guest guest
Dear Susan, I have a friend in Kathmandu -- or at least she was. She is a wonderful acupuncturist/herbalist, who graduated in the first class of Yo San University graduates here in L.A. Her email address is wildearth She has a line of herbs and extracts. Her name is Karina Stewart and her company is Wild Earth. You can tell her I said hello. I am sure she would be generous with advice and assistance.
