Acupuncture laws

Does anyone know of a current resource of acupuncture and chinese

herboloby laws in the United states? I'm looking for something

similar to what's listed on Acupuncture.com, only more current and

with specifics on herbal medicine for each state. I've found

numerous links to the actual laws for each state, but that is

information overload. It seems most sites reference the 2001

publication of " Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Laws " - which would

be useable if there was a legislative addendum containing changes

since its publication. At this point I am using a combination of

Acupuncture.com and info found at

http://www.aomalliance.org/publications/newsletter/articles/leg%

20upd.htm

Does anyone know of any other user friendly resources? This seems

like the kind of thing that our national organizations should be on

top of. I wonder what recent graduates do when faced with relocating?

Lastly, while researching legislation I came across this juicy

requirement in Maryland: an acupuncturist must wear a tag

designating him or herself as a " Registered Acupuncturist " while

doing treatment. I suppose a name tag is cheaper than a degree... ;)

The problem with hyperlinks to acupuncture regulations is they are

notorious for changing and so they have to be updated quite frequently.

I believe that the links at the following pages are more up-to-date

than acupuncture.com's.

Just click on the state in question and look to the right side of the

page toward the top. If I found a link to a practice act, I included it

there...
