Guest guest
I just saw a Nova on this classic Greek text on Math that accurately described the calculus of infinity over 2000 years ago. Amazing Alon
Guest guest
Alon, I'm not sure of the direct applicability of this to Chinese herbal medicine, but if you're interested in the calculus of infinity and related topics, I recommend a recent book by George Lakoff called Where Mathematics Comes From. In fact there is a non-trivial link to the subject of this list in that Lakoff's work on metaphor is directly applicable to understanding how Chinese language functions and influences the conceptual basis for things like systematic correspondence as it was applied to herbal medicine, for example.
