Guest guest
Is it possible that a spinal tap is still leaking 1 year after preformed? I am treating a P with severe HA that started immediately after the spinal tap which leaked quite severely. Only one blood-patch could be done due to hematological complications. Any help would be appreciated. Another spinal tap can not be done to check pressure. I am informed her that to relieve HA's she should rent the movie, but this has not worked yet. Anyway just curious… -

What kind of complications did she have. I am assuming they are not due to the blood patch. Did the first patch work at all? it usually works within a few seconds, quite amazing Alon
Guest guest
Hi Jason, I know another person with a similar history. His severe headache begain after his spinal tap, and the blood patch did not relieve it. This is almost three years now after the tap, and he is still quite debilitated by his headaches. He has not sought acupuncture, so I do not have experience to share - just lots of compassion. < wrote: Is it possible that a spinal tap is still leaking 1 year after preformed?
