Guest guest
I am curious if anyone out there has an herbal pharmacy that dispenses both crude herbs and extracted granules and does so routinely and in an unspecific pattern. I am just curious if there seems to be any feedback or observation in terms of the differences between the two herbal forms, advantages or disadvantages, any difference in results, or anything interesting to note about their usage, etc.... Guest guest
We have a pharmacy that dispenses raw, powders and liquid concentrates. The liquids are by far our biggest sellers: the quality is higher than powders and nearly as effective as raw. Powder advantage: overseas travel: they are easy to pack. Easy to encapsulate. But, IMHO therapeutically less effective. I am really committed to the whole experience: the whole gestalt of herbs. I think it matters that you can smell and taste them. And I think if you can¹t the results are often compromised. that said: the best herbs are the ones that cross your lips and are swallowed. I don¹t beat my patients over the head with my preferences and I do use patents in my practice as well. -- Cara O. Guest guest
Thanks for your response. I am curious as to what your liquid concentrates are. Are they formulas that you decoct there and package or is there a form of this manufactured that you aquire and then dispense?
