In addition to that, on the acupuncture side, I've studied with teachers of several styles (Korean, Japanese, French and non-TCM Chinese), and these days mostly use a meridian style based in some of these. On the diagnosis and herb side I've been quite influenced by John Shen, and do my best to integrate his ideas. I don't think I said there were no books on these subjects, but those that exist are probably better suited to a professional audience. Hope this helps.
