Spinal paralysis / muscle spasm / pain from gunshot wound

Colleagues, what would you recommend in this case [sorry - I have

no more info at the moment]. Are Die Da Wan or Yunnan Baiyao

applicable here?

Maria, sorry for delay - I was teaching in Barcelona and just got

home today.

 

WHERE ARE YOU? WHEN did the shooting occur [i.e. how long

has your husband been paralysed)?

 

I do not want to raise your hopes in an unrealistic way. If your

husband's spinal cord is injured seriously (for example if it is

completely severed), there is almost zero chance of recovery from

the paralysis.

 

If, however, it is only " nicked " , with minor cutting damage (but with

local cord pressure from clots/oedema/fluid swelling), there is a

possibility of significant improvement if you can find a really skilled

acupuncturist and/or Chinese Herbal Doctor.

 

It is most important that you ask your husband's hospital doctors

what they found during surgery, or on scans/X-ray examination.

Ask for the EXACT location, nature and extent of his spinal cord

injury. Also ask for their HONEST LONG-TERM PROGNOSIS.

 

While acupuncture/Chinese herbal medicine may not cure his

paralysis [if the damage is very severe], it may be very helpful to

ease his pain and muscle spasm, and to calm his spirit and help

his psyche.

 

I have a few contacts in Japan and France, and will ask for their

recommendations if you wish. However, expert acupuncturists /

Chinese herbal doctors exist in most countries today.

 

Meanwhile, I urge you to get some homeopathic ARNICA C6 +

HYPERICUM C6 + NUX VOM C6. You will get these in any good

homeopathic pharmacy. Give one tablet of each, three times a day.

Start immediately and stop after 2 weeks if you see no

improvement.

 

I have put your husband's history on several professional lists today

and will feedback any comments from colleagues.
