Guest guest
>>Wainwright, I see two possible courses: one, the brilliantly simple idea suggested by Phil of measuring outcomes of therapy using a panel of tests, and establishing norms to compare from.>> I do think that in theory, something along these lines is possible. >>Two, as I have promoted in my last two posts, aggressively making friends in high places, in order to establish self-regulating standards, independant of the Western Medical establishment, and then conducting r & d of a high calliber, on our terms, and not have to look over our shoulders for approval from those who do not speak our language. Yehuda>> Good idea. In the UK, prominent people, such as Margaret Thatcher when she was Prime Minster, Cherie Blair, Princess Diana, not to mention the Royal Family in general, have utilised CAM. Without doubt, this has helped to strengthen its position. The danger is that the next step is often that the biomedidcal establishment calls for, and gets a mandate, to put this all on a sound scientific footing... Plus ca change...
