Dear friends,

 

Over my four years in school, I have heard over and over again that some of the

benefits of acupuncture are:

 

1. It is anti-inflamatory.

2. It causes the release of endorphins.

3. It causes the release of serotonin.

4. It improves circulation and increases the rbc count.

5. It is analgesic.

 

Here are my cyber-requests from all of you exceptional souls.

 

1. What other generalized benefits can we prove acupuncture provides?

 

2. Prove the above five (and any additional benefits I haven't thought of)

other than anecdotally, and preferably with abstracts and studies.

I think these effects have been shown scientifically, not just

anecdotally. See for example the research work, papers, and books of

Bruce Pomeranz.
