Guest guest
Dear Chris and other Colleagues, I've only known Ken since February, 2003. How intriguing it is that I find Ken's presentations provoking, intriguing and thoroughly enjoyable. Some on this list apparently feel otherwise ... and strongly so. Yet even when Ken is quite literally " in my face " in my own kitchen, I never take personally his " assaults " . I deeply respect his " jabs " because he is indeed a good boxer, a good writer, and a remarkably caring person. I can feel his genuine involvement in the moment and most importantly his genuine caring for his audience. He does not condescend from my observation. He does not present himself as a " teacher " or " master " to me or to my observation. He presents himself as a thoroughly " beat up " senior student who yet hungers all the more for the next hard lesson. I imagine that this image is a bit hard to take for some who are not so intense in their involvement. It seems pretty obvious that Ken wants nothing more than to discuss CM diagnostics and treatments, but wants even more to address foundational issues as well. I've met some of the real CM masters and teachers of our time as many on this list have ... probably most more than me. Those masters and teachers are not on this list. I am the least of the CM students on this august list of 800+, but even I can see this much ... forgive my pretentious observations. Ken wants to wrestle and grow even after losing as many matches as he's won. I admire Ken's spirit as much as I admire a deer in the forest who stumbles in flight ... yet proceeds amidst the stumble with grace up over the ridge. I felt someone needed to say this, so I did. I could say as much for others I've come to admire like Marnae, Z'ev, Fernando and so many others who I can't all list. In gratitude, Emmanuel Segmen
