Guest guest
Hi list... What about the university coursers say in Australia and UK are they not day school classes? one of the dilemmas is that as an " alternative " it appears that people (not necessarily on the list) but prospecting students have the notion that it is not that much to study. I have no real idea about the system in USA but remembering that I was horrified at someone's conclusion in Uk when the person said something like: Oh! no it is not good that CM becomes degree coursers at university because then WHOM EVER can enter (???) Personally I think it is a good think if it is more accusable and not less... Hence in UK apart from suspect that the standard is actually rising it is a good thing to have the coursers at university (i.e. university level) And I presume the same thing for Australia... What about Canada B.C. they seam advance also and presumably the schools must comply with the college of Chinese medicine in B.C the regulatory body in B.C.. Most if not all coursers there seam to have medical Chinese (soon post graduate will involve not medical Chinese but Vietnamese, Korean and or Japanese for those whom want to specialise in different strand/stream of OM-TEAM). The class population will probably shift from an older first entrance to a younger (I do not see it as good or bad unlike WM it would not be necessary to put age limits IMO) Hence the dilemma is that if quite a large number are not practicing afterwards then maybe coursers needs to be more in-depth i.e. more Chinese medicine knowledge mediated via language and highly experience teachers whom can make visible those nuances...
