Marco: " simple " very few people actually bothered and or could not go to Macao and other Asian countries in the 70´s in part because the " idea " was not there... Also it was and still is an aspiration that Chinese medicine is Alternative (and I am not talking about resent thread that Ted plant this in his books for the PUBLIC) I am talking about the so call intuitive part, many are the times I hear that Chinese medicine is empirical and intuitive if it only was so straightforward as this ALL THE WORLD WOULD BE DOING CHINESE MEDICINE BY NOW... > Affairs have roots and branches. The > branch here is a standard of educational > conduct that far far fails to approach > the traditional Chinese ideal as it is > expressed in the work of an individual > who is revered as the God of Medicine. > > What is the root? Marco: ideas and accessibilities including possibilities and human nature... How can we prevent the complications of shortcomings in say USA with regard to CM in Guatemala? Marco: It is scary when you posted this message I was lamenting out loud: Why does no body sincerely want to study in Guatemala my poor other half had to hear my cries of desperation (no joke). Although I am not as advance as those on this list in a way things are relative so in a way in Guatemala " I am " I am having a challenge of finding someone that actually wants to really try to study to there best frontiers. Next year yet again hoping to get a class going but I can see it in front of me: But dr. so so and so so talk about symptoms and points and I good for you What will you do when " bl 57 " does not work for haemorrhoids? Blame the medicine and or investigate/learn other possibilities? (do they exist? do see what I mean about being a " better " practitioner now?) Ken: > > I think there is a whole universe full of > enormously useful data in the archives of > traditional medical lore. Marco: So how can we prevent this situation in Guatemala before it really takes root?
