Guest guest
Jason and I want to thank you both for bringing the clinic and case s= tudy in the glue case. I really felt it was a good learning experience. A good use of t= he CHA. I originally brought up the tinglingzi and the inflammation issue because I= thought Jason was challenging us to find the heat in the case. In the spirit of adv= enture, I went looking for it. oooops. But we managed to knock around a lot of concepts in= the meantime. However, the original glue-like diagnosis of heat, now, remains a mystery. = I hope will get back to us at some time with a definitive answer as to whethe= r it exists in the Chinese literature. doug " " > wrote: > > > > clealry not everyone here agree with you. would you use er chen > with huang > > to clear heat? > > > > You are right, our opinions differ, that is alright... Guest guest
Why so interested in the PRC standard? The PRC standard, I assume is for teaching purposes. ANd this seems to be only a guideline to practice. There are so many things that aren't clinical facts that are presented as such in any diagnosis book... just curious? >>>>My point exactly. If one teaches for simplicity than when confronted with real cases its much more difficult, than often people start just piling up Dxs Alon
Guest guest
Dr. Zhang explained to us that after the initial stage of clear, bubbly phlegm, its continued presence unresolved automatically brings about the transformational process of increasing heat: step two is white thin phlegm, then white thick clumpy phlegm (like glue), then yellow thick phlegm, and then yellow dry phlegm. The implication from this exposition would be that even step two, and certainly step three, where there would be no evidence of yellow, should be looked at as manifestations of heat, though not yet fire. Guest guest
So for example one can not know how to treat rheumatoid arthritis, but if it is in an active stage than 60% of the information is there. >>>>can you elaborate an real life example from your clinic guiding us through the conceptual hurdels? please...
