Is it based solely on the gastroscopy, or do they use a standard CM diagnosis and simply refine the choice of herbs based on the gastroscopy? I saw this in China. Also when you look at Rx for gastritis you will notice some different WM categorization used with CM principles. The one indicating damp, the other yin xu. That's the example I was given I don't know how much more information is gotten. This information is used for or in support a CM diagnosis and herbs prescribed based on CM.
