This sounds quite interesting. Have they published, or do you know,

the criteria they used for the choice of herbs? Is it based solely on

the gastroscopy, or do they use a standard CM diagnosis and simply

refine the choice of herbs based on the gastroscopy?

From what I've heard, a scope is done and they are checking for amount of mucous

or

a shiny surface. The one indicating damp, the other yin xu. That's the example I

was

given I don't know how much more information is gotten. This information is used

for

or in support a CM diagnosis and herbs prescribed based on CM. That's what I've

heard from my Chinese friend.
