Guest guest
Dear Wainwright and Emmanuel, Just off the cuff, as has been discussed earlier, the two reasons given for aging are blood (should I say stagnation or stasis?-yikes!), and yin deficiency. Here you would combine both of them. Just thinking out loud, assuming that the tongue and pulses are consistant with that diagnosis. Yehuda PS Happy birthday Emmanuel, keep getting better like chen pi! Rokumijiogan and other Rehmannia formulas are indicated by lower abdominal --especially sub- umbilical-- vacuity, and lower ab vacuity is often complicated by blood stasis findings, focal areas of hardness, pressure pain, skin discoloration, etc. robert hayden

That sounds like a reasonable interpretation of the formula. Does any one know the dosages given in the original Japanese formula, and has any one used this formula? If so, any feedback?
