Guest guest
Would it be a concern to give liu wei di huang wan to a patient, female, 82, already on coumadin, amlodipine (a ca channel blocker) and benazepril (an ACE inhibitor). The patient is hypertensive and post stroke. I want to try and prevent any more strokes, but cannot give tian ma gou teng yin because the blood pressure is already sometimes too low on the current meds when she takes them. I also cannot give blood movers because of the coumadin and my inability to have this situation closely monitored. I would mainly wonder about the mu dan pi.
