Guest guest
I currently am treating a patient with suspected endometriosis in the colon. Pre-menstrually she has alot of stool irregularities. I was wondering if anyone has any herbal experience with this or has any ideas outside of whats in the books.(basically transform phlegm dissolve nodules and move blood. I am looking for specific herbs and strategies people have found useful. Thanks. Rich Blitstein Intern PCOM-Chicago
Guest guest
I've had premenstrual syndrome result in diarrhea too (among my patients, that is). I'd look at it first as a Liver/Spleen disharmony. Does that fit into what you see in the patient (minus the endometriosis assumption)? -al. Guest guest
Rich- Could you post more details about the case? It sounds very interesting. -Steve >I currently am treating a patient with suspected endometriosis in >the colon. Pre-menstrually she has alot of stool irregularities. Guest guest
No, she has blood in the stool, thin stools, thick stools, occasional diarrhea, just all over the place. The MD suspects endo in the bowel and she will have a colonoscopy to confirm. , Al Stone <alstone@b...> wrote: > I've had premenstrual syndrome result in diarrhea too (among my > patients, that is). > > I'd look at it first as a Liver/Spleen disharmony.
