I currently am treating a patient with suspected endometriosis in

the colon. Pre-menstrually she has alot of stool irregularities. I

was wondering if anyone has any herbal experience with this or has

any ideas outside of whats in the books.(basically transform phlegm

dissolve nodules and move blood. I am looking for specific herbs

and strategies people have found useful. Thanks.

I've had premenstrual syndrome result in diarrhea too (among my

patients, that is).

I'd look at it first as a Liver/Spleen disharmony. Does that fit into

what you see in the patient (minus the endometriosis assumption)?

Could you post more details about the case? It sounds very interesting.

No, she has blood in the stool, thin stools, thick stools,

occasional diarrhea, just all over the place. The MD suspects endo

in the bowel and she will have a colonoscopy to confirm.
