Honso's specification of Ephedrine on all Ma Huang containing products

Dear all,

 

Honso publishes its Japanese specifications on Ephedrine for all of

its ephedra containing professional products (Kampo). As a routine,

the contents of Ephedrine in each lot of the production is tested and

reported in Certificate of Analysis in Japan. The levels of Ephedrine

have to be within the specifications. This is a simple yet effective

way to insure the safety usage of the ingredient by practitioners.
