introduction

as i wanted to post i felt it appropriate to introduce myself, of

course i waited until after the post, because it only occurred to

me afterward. so anyhow.

 

My names is Brett Jackson, i've completed an MSAOM from

Bastyr University. I think herbs are cool, and more importantly, i

think the holistic strategies of Chinese herbal medicine are

particularly cool. I have historically had an interest in Tibetan

herbal medicine too, moreso after their introduction to Chinese

medicine during the Tang dynasty. My undergraduate education

was in Chinese history and literature, as well as Chinese

language, and at the moment i am working on reading the

classics in Chinese, but i'm starting with the more recent ones,

because the language is easier.

 

I've read this list for some time now, maybe something over a

year, but i haven't really felt like mentioning anything until today.
