Powdered Decoctions

Greetings,

I have used the powdered decoctions from Ming Tong and Lotus herbs for

several years. I have often suspected that some of the fillers (corn and potato

starch) may cause allergic skin reactions in some people. Any comments on this?

Also any suggested opinions about alternatives?

Regards, Patrick

I have a patient with a food sensitivity to dried soy products which often show

up in

packaged foods. Taking one or two capsules from Qualiherb will get her horribly

depressed and angry within an hour. She finds it is the exact reaction from the

two

products, packaged food and the herbs. She is also food sensitive to alcohol.

Simple question: Are your patients also reactive to corn and/or potato foods?

>>>They use pharmaceutical starch which does not contain any proteins so that

allergy is unlikely. But who knows
