Guest guest
One other significant shortcoming of WM testing is its intrusiveness. For example, consider the " safe, state of the art alternative " to radiation: (bone scans, PT -scans, CT-scans, etc., whose danger is also downplayed )MRIs. A safe exposure to magnetic radiation is a little over 3 gauss. During an MRI the patient is exposed to 40,000 gauss. You don't think that stirs up the molecular soup? How about the chemo used for Cancer treatment? It is so caustic that elaborate procedures are used to protect the admininstering physician. SO WHY ARE WESTERN INTRUSIVE PROCEDURES ADMINISTERED SO CAVALIERLY? Two words: Public relations. They have mastered the art of marketing! I would strongly suggest reading a wonderful book by an MD who refused to practice Western Medicine, after going through internship and healing herself with natural medicine: " Stop the Medicine " by Cynthia Foster, MD. Shouldn't we also be trying to somehow qualify and quantify, for that matter CM diagnostic tools: tongue, pulse, face, nails, etc, and apply them to Western patterns? Of course, many concepts can't be interchangeable, but general areas of concern certainly can. Todd mentioned in his article on Naturopathy and CM about a month or so ago (which I enjoyed immensely, thanks!) an article that Z'ev had written about the energies and temperatures of Western Meds. 'same idea here.
