Guest guest
Dear Colleagues fluent in Chinese! Re: TERMINOLOGY USED IN TCM, I have uploaded 8 new MS Word files to my site: http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit1a.doc [0.97 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit1b.doc [0.75 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit2.doc [0.86 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit3a.doc [1.27 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit3a.doc [1.21Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit3a.doc [1.01 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit4a.doc [0.94 Mb] http://homepage.eircom.net/~progers/tcmedit4b.doc [0.86 Mb] These are LARGE files (each 0.81-1.27 Mb), so they are rather slow to download. They are my first-draft edits of the TCM Terminology from the the Chinese Committee for Terms in TCM (CCTM) Web Pages (www.cttcm.com.cn/jbmcd1.htm to www.cttcm.com.cn/jbmcd8.htm). I have sorted these files by the ideograms, so their line sequence is quite different from the originals. With your help, I will undertake to reassemble the edited data back to its original sequence and remount the final edits for use by any people who are interested in the terminology. I need volunteers to edit these files. To avoid unnecessary duplication of effort, please do NOT begin your edits now until I assemble a team of volunteers. Please email me off-list if you are willing to help and I will get back to you with a specific set of data to edit. Each volunteer will be asked to edit specific lines of text and to return ONLY those lines to me. I cannot do all this work myself and I would really appreciate your help. The final data will be very useful to many people interested in TCM. Please let me know if you have trouble reading the Chinese Characters in those files. They are in Arial Unicode MS font. You will need to have Chinese Character Display software installed on your computer to read them. Please join the volunteer group!
