Guest guest
Is sudden onset hasty panting and wheezing usually considered to have an exterior component? In sionneau, sudden onset hasty panting is typically associated with exterior patterns, except for depressed qi, the latter being due to emotions. It is unclear whether yang vacuity, water flooding denotes a truly acute onset pattern. Acute wheezing (which always includes panting and phlegm according to sionneau) may seem to be delineated as phlegm and vacuity patterns, but the phlegm patterns appear to all involve an exterior releasing component upon inspection of the formula and are all indicated upon exposure to external hot or cold. The acute stage vacuity patterns all involve either hot or cold wheezing that has damaged yin or yang or invaded due to yin or yang xu.
