Web pages are often written in non-standard mark-up language, and Navigator couldn't deal with it, and also couldn't deal with some newer code that was standard, such as CSS. I changed to Internet Explorer 5.1, which is much more stable. There are also other options, such as Mozilla, which keep pace with changing standards much better.
