Guest guest
Trauma induced - even visible hemotoma - sounds like a good case to look at Xue Fu Zhu Yu Wan type formulas... Maybe Tong Qiao Huo Xue Tang. Also look at formulas that address Wind & Phlegm such as Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin or Ding Xian Wan (stop seizure pill - worked very well for some people I know). If the clear Yang is unable to rise, the turbid can accumulate, causing LOC / seizures, etc. Something they did at school (I never had a seizure patient) was to tell the patient to press 'n rub Du 26 hard when they felt the prodrome so they could delay the seizure. If this works, they could get to a safe place before having a seizure or maybe avoid it all together - I'm not sure. You may also want to try some bleeding - either plum blossom locally or bleed Si Shen Cong. Good luck and let us know how it turns out- Geoff > __________ > > Message: 10 > Wed, 25 Feb 2004 11:02:31 EST > limon1111 > seizures from trauma > > Has anyone in the group treated loss of consciousness and > seasures.Patient 41 > y.o.,male,had car accident in nov.2001.There is hemotoma in the right > occipital area.He has crisis 1 or 2 times per month, with > typical presentation:nausea > and bluriness before the event, and consequent loss of > consciousness, convultions etc.His pulse is regular, deep and > weak in K positions, and slippery in 1st > and 2nd positions, tongue is scalloped with thin white coat.He > feels dizzy, has > occipital H.A,nervous and depressed. Are there any pattent > formulasto treat this > condition?Let me know.Thank you .Alexander Zide.
