Guest guest
brian- for whatever this is worth- i just returned form Nan Jing- i ended up studying/working in the Nan Jing provincial hospital for 9 months. It was very inexpensive compared to going to china with an ocom group the year before. I ended up studying and working with a Chinese doctor who spoke English and used abdominal acupuncture almost exclusively- of course you could also visit and watch other docs who used and practiced tcm and auricular acupuncture exclusively too- anyway-they give you a certificate of completion- for whatever its worth- at least you can get some ceus for it- hang it on a wall in your office- they are very receptive to foreigners and said they would love it if some more foreigners would come and study there- and yes it’s hot in Nan Jing in the summer- but no hotter than being in Florida in the summer- locked in a car with your windows rolled up- e-m me and I'll send you the contact numbers chet cardinale ps nan jing was great – but bei jing and shang hai has the best night life - or so I’m told ===== " Dissent without resistance is consent. Guest guest
Chet: Thanks for the information. Can you email me the contact information for NanJing. Is this the same place that the Oregon school trains at. I was planning on going with them last year but they cancelled the trip due to SARS. The guy who arranges the trip for the school told me he would help me to set things up if needed. Perhaps with your contact information I could do it myself. How important is it that someone sponsors me so I can get the better instructors. etc. Perhaps you can give me the name of the Doctor you worked with. Also, where is the better places to stay or is there campus housing and if so what is it like...Any Air conditioning in the housing or hospital.... I am also looking at a place in hangzhou. Here's the link, perhaps you can take a look at it and tell me what you think. http://www.chinatcm.org/ Thanks again...Brian chet cardinale <needlemedeep1x wrote: brian- for whatever this is worth- i just returned form Nan Jing- i ended up studying/working in the Nan Jing provincial hospital for 9 months.
