Guest guest
Hello All, I have a patient with persistent hemmoroids, external. I wanted to give him some herbs to do a sitz bath. Does anyone have any recommendations? Guest guest
Greetings, I have often used comfrey in a sitz bath with very good results - the comfrey draws the hemmoroids back in, nicely. Guest guest
Hi Eti, I've used UB57 bilateral and Du2 bilateral and run electrical stem bilateral. It has always worked within a couple of days. Fernando , Eti Domb <etidomb> wrote: > Hello All, > > I have a patient with persistent hemmoroids, external. Guest guest
Hi All, Eti, I wonder what your diagnosis is for this case of hemmoroid? I have several recipes for fumigation/sitz bath but they vary depending on the amount of heat/pain/protrusion/falling pain etc. Any idea how much blood stasis, heat, damp, dampheat, deficiency? Guest guest
Yes, Sharon (nice to hear from you ) this patients diagnosis is kidney qi xu, liver blood xu and liver qi depression. His hemmoroids protrude slightly (but constantly), are painful and swollen. There doesnt seem to be a great degree of heat, sot much itching but pain. His stools are loose usually but since taking bu zhing yo qi tang they are more formed (when he takes the herbs..) Mostly deficiency here with mild heat and blood stasis in the lower abdomen, he now developed a protruding disc in L5 and the pain radiates to his left testicle.
