Guest guest
I am finding the conversations of the group informative and enjoyable. I am new the CHA and I have been seeing the posts for this past week. My name is Joy and I have a practice in Mill Valley, CA. A note on the enapsulators: I too have found that my patients are not taking their powdered herbs. In this on the go culture, capsules seem to be the best mode for my patients. I bought an unautomated encapsulator that puts together 100 capsules. I can fill it, press it and bottle it in 10-15 minutes. That would be one patient's herbs for a week in 30-45 min! Multiply that by how many patients you see in a week. I find it tedious and not worth my time. Unless, of course you get into the meditative aspect of it. If an automated one is more efficient, it pays for itself in a short period of time even though the initial investment seems large. Right now I am buying pre-encapsulated formulas, but at some point I do plan to look into the automated encapsulator in order to modify. Joy McIlvaine, L.Ac.
