Guest guest
Wenlin's handwriting recognition is pretty good. Just select the brush tool and options to list characters and ignore stroke order. If you are familiar with strokes and basic character construction, you should be able to enter most commonly used characters and wenlin will give you about 20 choices. I usually hit on numbers 1-3. While I can do this with a mouse or trackball, a pen tool would be better. Can anyone recommend a good pen tool for mac? Guest guest
I recently purchased a WACOM " Graphire 3 " pen and tablet which was recognized instantly in OSX; however installing the included drivers improves performance. These tablets are excellent value now and there are various sizes available starting with a 4 " X6 " active area which is plenty large enough for and larger. The larger ones come with mouse as well as pen and extra software (photoshop elements etc). Reviews for these pen/tablets have been unanimously excellent for nonprofessional use. Guest guest
you don't have many choices. Wacom is probably the favorite. Mine works fine with Wenlin. Just don't be tempted to get a bigger than small size. That just makes for bigger strokes with no benefit. doug Can anyone > recommend a good pen tool for mac? > > > > Chinese Herbs > > > FAX: > >
Guest guest
You can get the Wacom Graphire2 for ~$62 including shipping from here: http://www.pcnation.com/web/details.asp?item=829958. More prices can be found by searching on Graphire at www.pricewatch.com. You can check the Wacom out at most Apple stores.
