Guest guest
I'd like to recommend that you create a section of your website that contains the latest news on the current FDA ban. It should include the pertinent facts that have been posted to this forum (pending the author's permission), as well as contact phone numbers, email addresses, fax numbers, etc. As new developments occur, just add them with the date & it will maintain the chronology of events. Part of the problem we face in trying to deal with this issue is disorganization. A lot of good information has been posted on the forum, but acting on it (or forwarding it to colleagues) requires sifting through hundreds of messages to piece together the big picture. I talked with the president of a school in TX today, & he was unaware that there was an herb ban. I am trying to bring him up to speed, thus the idea for a " homepage " for this issue. Internet bulletin boards use a concept called a " sticky note " to organize important threads, & to keep them at the top of the message list. uses different technology, but you could effect the same result on your site. I know you've got an " under construction " area for political activism. Please consider getting at least the basics up ASAP, including phone/fax numbers, & email addresses. It would be a great way to route traffic to your snazzy new site. -Tim Sharpe
