I'm new to this group - here is a chunk copied from my bio. page,

as requested:

--------------------------------

Roger Wicke studied TCM herbology under C.S. Cheung,

M.D., and Yat Ki Lai at the American College of

Traditional , graduating in 1985. Since

then he has maintained a practice centered around TCM

herbology and integrated with environmental health and

nutrition counseling. He is currently director of the

Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute and has authored

several Chinese herbology textbooks and software,

including " Traditional Chinese Herbal Sciences " (CD-ROM).

Roger received the Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from

the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980; M.S.

and B.S. in Bioelectrical Engineering also from MIT. He

has conducted and published research in

neurophysiology, perception, pharmacology, and

electroacupuncture at MIT, Boston University Medical

School, and Stanford University. His disillusioning

experiences in medical research led him to formulate a

health-care philosophy that directly addresses the need

to weigh political and economic factors, including

fraud and corruption, in evaluating any and all sources

of information about health and disease.
