Guest guest
I don't suppose anyone has saved ALL or MOST of the CHA messages you ever received. I am looking for a complete set of either emails or digests. While I have access to the archives like everyone else, I have other plans for the archived material that would be facilitated by having the files in some standard word processing format (text, html, rtf or WORD or appleworks). If you have been a long time member, you may have the files stashed somewhere and not even know it. thanks. Chinese Herbs FAX:

I am looking for a complete set of either emails or I would like to thank Sean Doherty for providing me with a file of the emails sent to CHA from 6/17/00 - present. While this accounts for about 24,500 messages, there are still about 2000 missing from 6/1/99 - 6/16/00. Anyone who has these files, I would be glad to provide a link on my website to your clinic if you could provide me with such. In addition, I am still looking for the complete set of emails from someone who received them in either mail, outlook or netscape on a Mac, not a PC. The PC files work, but some formatting has been lost. That being said, I can do a cool thing with these files now that they are stored in my OSX mail program. I can search for an exact subject header such as herbs and IVF, then save the entire THREAD in a SINGLE pdf file. All I do is search for all messages with this subject, then highlight all the messages and select print. But instead of printing, I choose save as PDF. This allows me to have a single file that includes every message in a topic according to any order I want to sort (date, sender). If I then want to edit any of all of this file, I can cut and paste it into any WP program. This only works on Mac, BTW. There may be a PC option. Speaking of collating and printing CHA files, here is a reminder from the forum policy page: CHA is the owner of the forum and the stored archives, however forum members may use the message archives for personal and educational use. The Forum is a private bulletin board and members may not be quoted in any other medium without their express written consent. However CHA reserves the right to use anonymous quotes from the forum after first requesting permission to quote. Individual forum members own the rights to their own posts, but forum archives cannot be used for profitmaking purposes by members. complete policies at: http://www..org/policy.shtml
