I know that there is a three immortals pill which consists of shan yao, wu yao and yi zhi ren. The text I'm in talks about chao san xian (toasted three immortals) ten grams each. Is this the same bunch of herbs, or is there another three immortals lurking our there? The text goes on to say that they are used to strengthen the spleen and open the stomach when used with ji nei jin for pediatric diarrhea due to liver spleen disharmony.
